VLAD

VLAD (Very Low Altitude Demonstrator) is built as a testbed for Eureka-2’s recovery system. This rocket features the exact dual-deploy recovery system that will be flying on E-2, and launched to approximately 6000 ft to simulate in-flight conditions before we use it on E-2 in Spring of 2024.

VLAD successfully launched and recovered on October 7, 2023 - marking SEB’s first fully successful recovery.
