VLAD

VLAD (Very Low Altitude Demonstrator) is built as a testbed for Eureka-2’s recovery system. This rocket features the exact dual-deploy recovery system that flew on Eureka-2, and launched to around 6000 feet, simulating flight conditions before the Eureka-2 launch in February 2024.

VLAD successfully launched and recovered on October 7, 2023 - marking SEB’s first nominal recovery.
