Our High Altitude Demonstrator (HAD) project aims to demonstrate and test our aerostructures, avionics, and recovery at 110,000ft + peak velocity of Mach 3.5. As such, HAD is a crucial stepping stone of the Eureka-3 campaign.

In developing and testing the recovery architecture for this high-altitude, high-powered vehicle, SEB successfully flew and recovered LADHAD2, a subscale solid vehicle, in March 2025. This vehicle featured both additively-manufactured airframe components and custom fiberglass layups. With LADHAD2’s nominal recovery, we are moving full steam ahead in designing, building, and testing record-setting rockets that will demonstrate all the systems necessary for a spaceshot.
